How romance works, start to finish
1. Build hearts: talk daily, give gifts they love (use the gift finder — wrong gifts waste the one-per-day slot), join events, and don't skip family quests or birthdays.
2. At 4 hearts: an "Invite → Ask on Date" option appears. The date happens the next night after you sleep — it's a small activity or minigame, and doing it badly can cost relationship points, so read your partner's lines carefully.
3. Dating several people is allowed with no hard penalty — but marriage means picking one.
4. Marriage: keep building the relationship after dating; proposing opens at a high level (community reports say around 8 hearts). Your spouse can move to your farm. There are no children in the game.
5. The vampire option: after marriage you can turn your spouse into a vampire — consensual, tied to the romance storyline, and unique to this game.
